The team will hold events to connect with our valued Oak Hill community.
The Oak Hill Parkway project team will host our second annual community cleanup along the project corridor in conjunction with Keep Austin Beautiful (KAB) Day. Volunteers with the construction team as well as members of the Oak Hill community will gather to pick up litter from sections of the US 290 frontage road between Old Fredericksburg Road and MoPac along the new shared-use paths built for the Oak Hill Parkway project. All are welcome to join us for this day of community service. The cleanup starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 15 at Unity Church of Austin – just west of Monterey Oaks Boulevard on the US 290 eastbound frontage road. Volunteers are asked to arrive early for registration at 8:30 a.m. wearing closed-toed shoes, long pants, gloves, protective sunglasses, and sunscreen. All cleanup supplies will be provided. This event is open to members of the public of all ages, but we ask that you leave your pets at home.
