The Oak Hill Parkway project team will host our third annual community cleanup along the US 290 corridor in partnership with Keep Austin Beautiful (KAB) Day. The Oak Hill community is invited to join us for this day of service. Volunteers will gather to pick up trash from sections of the US 290 frontage road between Old Fredericksburg Road and MoPac along the new shared-use paths built for the Oak Hill Parkway project. The cleanup starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Unity Church of Austin – just west of Monterey Oaks Boulevard on the eastbound US 290 frontage road. Volunteers are asked to arrive early for registration at 8:30 a.m. wearing closed-toed shoes, long pants, gloves, protective sunglasses, and sunscreen. All cleanup supplies will be provided. This event is open to members of the public of all ages, but we ask that you leave your pets at home.
