Texas Department of Transportation

The Texas Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining 80,000 miles of road and for supporting aviation, maritime, rail and public transportation across the state. Through collaboration and leadership, TxDOT delivers a safe, reliable and integrated transportation system that enables the movement of people and goods. Visit TxDOT.gov.
 
The TxDOT Austin District plans, designs, builds, operates and maintains the state transportation system in the following counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Gillespie, Hays, Lee, Llano, Mason, Travis and Williamson. The TxDOT Austin District is overseeing the design and construction of Oak Hill Parkway. Atkins serves as TxDOT’s general engineering consultant, and Atlas will provide owner verification testing and inspection. 
 

Colorado River Constructors

Colorado River Constructors (CRC) is a fully integrated joint venture comprised of two experienced design-build firms: Fluor Enterprises, Inc. and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. The successful 18-year partnership in Texas has resulted in three completed design-build projects, three currently under construction and one beginning soon.
  • Fluor Enterprises Inc., one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the world, is ranked as one of the top contractors and design-build firms by Engineering News-Record.
  • Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Inc. has been in Texas for over 20 years and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Balfour Beatty PLC, a leading infrastructure group, serving the international markets for rail, roadways, bridges, utility systems, buildings and complex structures.
Their lead engineering firm is AECOM Technical Services, Inc., with Raba Kistner performing quality assurance.
